Work with business manufacturing users to understand their business processes and data/reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
Develop, program, modify, and configure software changes on manufacturing systems to support business needs.
Learn software applications used by the organization and become the subject matter expert for these tools.
Gain extensive business knowledge on how applications are used within the business to create value.
Document and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
Provide system support for a 24/7 manufacturing facilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline preferred. Equivalent work experience with systems in a manufacturing environment will be considered in place of education.
Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or higher, SQL, HTML, ASP, C#, C++ and Java Script or similar programming languages.
Ability to develop, interpret, and present technical documentation for training and end user procedures in non-technical terminology
Highly self-motivated and directed and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
